CalFresh Awareness Event

Join us, O.C. Supervisor Doug Chaffee, and Northgate Market on Wednesday for a CalFresh awareness event.

Chef Pablo will demonstrate healthy recipes you can make at home with ingredients you can buy at Northgate. You can meet with @OCSSA1 eligibility staff to learn more about and apply for CalFresh and other assistance programs. @OCHealthInfo’s CalFresh Healthy Living team will lead tours of the store and teach you ways to stretch your grocery budgets. @OCWaste will show you how to prevent food waste and @First5OrangeCounty will provide fun educational activities for children.
