In 1962 this space started as an El Cholo take-out location. After a year the men’s store next door moved out and we expanded to include a dining room with seven redwood picnic tables. Originally a self-serve location, we began hiring servers and expanding. We’ve since been in business (almost 60 years!) and it’s this location that offers the famous El Cholo treasure chest with special surprises for the children.
