A Certified Development Company (CDC) is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of increasing business opportunities and stimulating employment. Landmark Certified Development Corporation is an SBA / ALP Certified Development Company. It is the CDC's goal to benefit the entire area of its operation through increased employment, sales volume and profits.
The CDC assists the small business to obtain commercial loans through private sources in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administration. Designated as a Certified Development Company by the SBA in Washington, D.C. in 1980, Landmark CDC is authorized to process 504 loan applications anywhere in the State of California.
Landmark CDC is one of only a few in the U.S. with Accredited Lender (ALP) status. This means faster loan approval for eligible clients. Services include:
-Initial interview for project eligibility.
-Packaging and processing of loans and other financial negotiations.
-Assistance in securing participation of a financial institution.
-Priority closing with designated closing attorney.
-Servicing and monitoring each loan for the life of the loan.
-Employment-generating assistance involving on-the-job training salary subsidies and tax credits in some areas.
-If not eligible for the 504 Loan, recommendations for alternative financing programs.
